Fulfillment fees depend on three inputs: size tier (dimensions), shipping weight (actual vs dimensional, whichever is greater) and price tier (under $10 / $10–50 / over $50).
L × W × H in ÷ 139 in the US). That is why a light 10 oz product in a big box can jump from a small-standard band to a 1 lb large-standard rate: dimensional weight overrides actual weight whenever it is higher. The free calculator does this tier detection and band lookup automatically, so you never have to consult the tables by hand.| Shipping weight (oz) | < $10 | $10–50 | > $50 |

(L × W × H in) ÷ 139, international uses (cm³) ÷ 5,000. FBA charges the greater of actual weight and dimensional weight — a light 18 × 14 × 8 in box can bill at its dimensional weight and jump a fee band. The calculator does this automatically.| Size tier | Base fee | Per-lb add-on |

3.5% of the fulfillment fee, effective Apr 17, 2026. A $4.20 fulfillment fee adds $0.15. The calculator toggles this on by default.
| Product size | Off-peak (Jan–Sep) | Peak (Oct–Dec) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard-size | $0.78 / ft³ | $2.40 / ft³ |
| Large / oversize | $0.56 / ft³ | $1.40 / ft³ |
A 6 × 4 × 2 in product (48 in³ = 0.028 ft³) stored 60 days off-peak costs about $0.04 per unit. Slow movers stored 90+ days in Q4 pay 3× the headline rate.
Single-point / minimal-split shipments (from Jan 15, 2026): small standard $0.14–$0.32; large standard $0.20–$1.90 by weight band (≤ 12 oz to 15–20 lb). Amazon-optimized splits: $0 (free). The calculator estimates with the official range midpoint and labels it as an estimate.
Each return costs the referral and fulfillment fees plus a processing fee. Category averages range from 5–8% (home, tools) to 20–30% (apparel). The calculator auto-fills these and amortizes them into per-unit profit.
Enter price, cost, category, dimensions and ad spend — the free calculator applies the 2026 rate card above, computes dimensional weight, solves your break-even price, and models storage, returns and placement. Everything runs in your browser; zero data is stored.

Small standard-size items use 16 weight bands from $2.43; large standard-size items use 12 bands from $2.91; 3–20 lb items pay $6.15 plus $0.08 per 4 oz above 3 lb. Dimensional weight is the greater of actual and (L × W × H ÷ 139) in the US.

A 3.5% fuel & logistics surcharge applies to fulfillment fees from Apr 17, 2026 (a $4.20 fulfillment fee adds $0.15). It applies on top of the fulfillment fee and must be included when calculating net profit.
Yes. From Jan 15, 2026, single-point or minimal-split shipments pay an inbound placement service fee: $0.14–$0.32 for small standard and $0.20–$1.90 for large standard depending on weight band. Amazon-optimized splits are free. The FBA Calcs calculator uses the official range midpoint as an estimate.
The breakdown above answers both in one pass: how much Amazon charges FBA sellers in total sums the six fee buckets on a typical sale, and FBA monthly storage fees in 2026 lays out the off-peak vs peak rates by cubic foot.
